Somatic Experiencing Practitioner
Hal’s a Somatic Experiencing (SE) Practitioner and Coach and holds a Masters in Clinical Psychology. In his nearly twenty years working with clients, he uses a body-centered approach, with a focus on body awareness and breathe, which helps people to open and release energetic holding patterns in their bodies. Somatic Experiencing resolves stress, anxiety, panic, trauma and PTSD and restores access to a fuller range of emotions and more healthy emotional responses toward ourselves and each other and the events in our lives.

No two people respond the same way to the same event. We are unique in that way. While one person may have no energetic holding from say, a near miss auto accident, another person may have a reaction that arouses their nervous system and can benefit from an Somatic Experiencing session.
Hal also works with individuals and couples improving their marriages and relationships, mentoring and offering support, bringing clarity to the questions and concerns people have in their relationships, whether at home, at work or with themselves. He is compassionate and caring, yet practical and direct. Hal’s amazing at teaching better communication skills while helping you gain valuable insights and new ways to thinking about what you need in a relationship.
He also has specialized training in EMDR and Process Acupressure, which compliments SE and helps clients to reach their fullest potential, resulting in happier and healthier relationships.
